the Asian Wisdom...

Asia it is an incredible place for discover and study...never stops to surprise. The ancient cultures and powerful energy of the temples and civilizations, make you see the world with differents eyes... with another energy and feeling. Before this trip I never pay atention to symbols of Feng Shui, details of architecture or even in smells and flavors... seems than now I can see the world with different eyes, and I can feel the energy more than before, sometimes in the form of the smoke of the incenses or the leaves floating in the wind... My passion for history and archeology is every day more strong... just now, I realize that I´m just learning some lessons on my journey, that It is true that not everything was written in books and teaching in universities or schools....
... Enjoy some pictures of my personal collection... My own piece of history at home

wow!!!! having a piece of history in your hands and in your own space is amazing!!!

History is the most important thing that could let us know who we are and where we come from.
Not everybody has the interest in it, and not everybody has the posibilities of knowing more than books show us, but thanks to Crazy Drile we can learn more about we can't see with own eyes!!!
hehey thanks !!!!!!!

Greetings!!!!

Hello Gabriela, I knew that you´ll love this chapter... The objets that I´m showing in my pics are from China, Indonesia and Thailand, the first pic : two chinese dogs, or chinese dragons, they are 100% used for feng shui

Feng shui Fu Dogs, or Imperial Guardian Lions, are a strong feng shui protection symbol. Fu Dogs were traditionally placed in front of Imperial palaces, temples, and government offices. Fu Dogs were also a traditional feng shui symbol of family wealth and social status and were placed in front of wealthy homes.

they are usually displayed as a couple. The male Fu Dog is holding a globe under his right paw, which signifies control over his domain and protection of his home. The female Fu Dog is holding a cub under her left paw, signifying strong maternal protective instincts.

The Dragon...
is a symbol of Strength, Goodness, Courage and Endurance. The Dragon is Yang energy which is male. He is the emblem of vigilance and security, and also the spirit of change. In Chinese mythology the Dragon is the predestined partner of the Phoenix, which is Yin energy. Feng Shui endeavors to capture Chi’, the Dragon’s breath.

the other two are from Thailand and Cambodia.... One represent a Cambodian Dancer and the other one is one Warrior in Ayutthaya fighting with he´s elephant

It is a very interesting theme... take a look in Internet, is a lot of information there

Keep traveling with Compass of the North

Cheers!
